Thanks, Kim! Years ago, Jaeney gave me an article called "How to Write Suspense"-- seriously, one of the funniest satires on the "how to write" genre I've ever read. Anyway, the writer said that "Lightning" is "so suspenseful it isn't even funny." Ponder that for a minute. "Just pack it in there," he said, "and no one will mind."
So on that sage advice, I would urge you to just say it, randomly, whenever "butchcocking" (or any of its variations) comes into your head.
Pack it in there! :)

Simply put, I love that you are blogging! The pics/food look amazing… oh, wait hold on I need to catch a little drool. I’m thinking we need to set up a time to cook together before you move to Oregon. I have missed you. Enjoy your evening with your sister and the Sara show of awesomeness. Hugs! <3

Darling Beth,
I have been thinking about you so much! I still remember you scooping up vegetable scraps from my kitchen counter and using them to teach me how to make the most delicious stock. I miss you horribly. Fortunately, I am moving to Portland in September . . . I hope we will roast a hen, or a duck, or some beautiful fowl together soon!
